Hi All,
Our new penny auction site is up and running and is doing very well. We have had very good traffic and a grand increase in membership! It's free, why not! Here is some information on the types of auctions within our penny auctions at http://pennyauctions.auctionjunkie.net
Penny Auction
In a penny auction, the price rises by just one penny with each bid placed (whereas in a normal auction, it rises by 10 cents). AutoBids can be placed so that you don’t have to closely monitor the item(s) you are bidding on.
NailBiter Auction
During a NailBiter Auction, AutoBids aren't allowed. Users may only place single bids by manually clicking or calling. Don't walk away or you'll miss the next incredible deal!
Beginners Auction
A Beginners Auction is a special auction exclusively for users who haven’t won before. Generally, there is less competition on these auctions so you have a much better chance of winning your first auction. We love creating new winners on Auction Junkie, and every Beginners Auction guarantees a new winner each time! This is your opportunity to learn how to bid and win on Auction Junkie without the pro bidders scaring you off.
20-Second Auction
All auctions start as 20-second auctions. The countdown increases by a maximum of 20 seconds each time that a bid is placed. These auctions are exciting and fast paced, usually reserved for extremely popular items!
15-Second Auction
You guessed it – with these the countdown increases by a maximum of 15 seconds with each bid placed. These auctions are exciting and fast paced, usually reserved for extremely popular items!
10-Second Auction
That's right – with these the countdown increases by a maximum of 10 seconds with each bid placed. These auctions are exciting and fast paced, usually reserved for extremely popular items!
Fixed Price Auction
If you win a Fixed Price Auction, you only pay the price indicated in the heading of the auction, regardless of the level the bidding reaches.
100% off
This is one of our exciting auction formats where an auction is marked “100% off”. The winning bidder does not have to pay the final price. That’s right: the price is zero! You just need to pay the delivery charges if they apply.
